Medicinal: Anodyne (mild), Antispasmodic, Diuretic, Nervine, Tonic. Calms and soothes the mind. Use in a warm water infusion, but do not allow the plant material to contact boiling water as the will destroy many of its relaxing properties. Also used to tread mild depression and insomnia. Acts as a mild diuretic. A warm water infusion is an excellent topical treatment for chapped skin.
